A better social media.

 

It all began with one idea. Not simply to build a better social media, but to serve the world. After recognizing the multiple barriers that entrepreneurs faced in starting new businesses, Donovan Benko began the journey to create TAP Network in 2020. Having formed a number of drop shipping ventures as a Covid-19 hobby, he began to see recurring issues and needs in each of the different stores built. Recognizing the vastly untapped potential within the influencer marketing industry, he found a desire to build an interactive interface that allowed professionals to easily connect and collaborate with creatives.

 

After building an MVP UI/UX Design, Tap Network competed at the 2021 Idaho Entrepreneur Challenge hosted By Boise State's Venture College. The traction and feedback from the event opened doors to raise a small angel investment to build and release the first version on the iOS App Store and Google Play.

After many revisions and minor pivots, our vision began to crystalliZE. We realized that there was a significant need in the professional services industry for a seamless platform that connects small businesses with talented freelance service providers. As we look back on our journey, from our humble beginnings, we are grate fun for the support we have received from our community bringing the vision to life. We are excited to continue pushing boundaries, building bridges, and connecting people in new and meaningful ways.

In 2022, the team publicly established our mission statement to read "Inspiring Ambition, Monetizing Imagination, Transcending Mediocrity, Actualizing Dreams." Our core goal has been to serve others, providing an easy to use marketplace where creatives and businesses can interact.
